Background:
This installer of window and door systems sought finance to assist with repaying ATO arrears and a refinancing of loans at their bank’s request. The repayment of these obligations out of daily cashflow would have adversely affected trading, by limiting the cash available to purchase stock and pay key creditors. Furthermore, the loans were secured against directors’ personal assets.
