One of our staff members recently took on the ‘Abseil for Youth’ challenge in which he very bravely abseiled down one of Sydney’s tallest buildings in support of the Sir David Martin Foundation.
Sir David, the late Governor of NSW, had a vision that all young people should be able to grow up in safety, with hope and opportunity. The Foundation was set up to help young people turn their lives around and reach their potential. Their major funding project is Triple Care Farm, an award winning residential rehabilitation program for youth, located in rural NSW. Triple Care Farm is one of the most successful programs of its kind in Australia and each year over 100 young people graduate, equipped with the confidence, skills, and the dedication to implement sustained change in their lives.
FactorONE matches dollar for dollar all funds raised by staff members for charity and we were proud to be able to present a cheque for huge $3902 to Alex Green from the Foundation at a recent morning tea.
